Parents - this is a reminder that there are regular school days on Monday, March 29, Tuesday, March 30 and Wednesday, March 31 as these are snow make-up days.
There is no school on Holy Thursday and Good Friday of next week. The Easter break will begin on Wednesday, March 31st at 2:30 p.m. dismissal and students will return to school on Monday, April 12th.
Students returning from remote to In-Person learning will have to follow all of the CDC regulations, the most important one being that they have to present proof of a Negative Covid Test within 72 hours of returning to school on April 12th. Any child who has traveled outside of the United States must follow the regulations for quarantine and show proof of a Negative Covid test before returning to school.
It is very important that the children keep up to date with assignments and book reports during the break as they will be facing New York State Tests or Alternative Assessments upon return as well as MAP Spring Assessments and Third Quarter Report Cards. We will let the children know the times of the Holy Week services in St. Margaret Mary Church next week and would like you to know that you are invited to the sacrament of penance as our dedicated priests will be available to hear confessions in the Rectory most of the day on Monday, March 29th. May your Holy Week preparation for Easter Sunday bring you deep peace knowing that our Risen Lord will be with you to fill your hearts with joy and hope.

Have a wonderful, safe and productive summer.
We know that learning is easier when you have an excellent teacher. That's why most of our educators have achieved an advanced degree in their field. Our faculty are passionate about the subjects they teach and bring this enthusiasm into their lessons. We have been serving the children of the Morris Heights area of the Bronx since 1925.
We follow a prescribed Catholic faith based course of study including daily prayer and religion lessons. Our curriculum is approved by the Archdiocese of New York and conforms to the guidelines of the New York State Education Department.
We offer a wide variety of classroom activities; including music, art, library, and physical education. The Sacrament programs offered are First Penance, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation.
St. Margaret Mary is a family oriented school. Many of the parents of the students are alumni. There's much to see here. We hope you enjoy our site and look forward to hearing from you.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
