Our St. Margaret Mary Preschool program is
based on the principle that young children learn best by doing. Learning requires
active thinking and experimenting to find out how things work. Children
explore the world around them by using all their senses.
The most
important goal of our early childhood curriculum is to help children
become enthusiastic learners. This means encouraging them to be active and
creative explorers through there ideas and thoughts.
Our
curriculum identifies four goals in all areas of development: social,
emotional, cognitive, and physical. The activities, environment, toys and manipulatives,
daily schedule, and the way we talk with the children, are all designed to
accomplish the goal of our curriculum and give your child a successful
start in school.
Classes
are Tuesday-Thursday from 8:00-11:00 for 3-4 year olds and
Monday-Wednesday-Friday from 8:00-11:00 for 4-5 year olds.
