Extended Care is offered before and after school for student enrolled at St. Margaret Mary School .

This program is staffed by school personnel and provides arts, crafts, a homework room, and recreational activities for all grades Kindergarten through eighth grade.

6:00 a.m.-7:40 a.m. - Students must sit quietly and play board games or read.  There is to be NO
                                RUNNING, NO SHOUTING, and NO BALL THROWING in the room at any
                                time. 

2:30                         Kindergarten sign-in - Free Play Outside

2:55 - 3:15                 Free play with older students/older students check-in
3:15 - 4:00                 Snack/Bathroom Break/Free play

4:00 - 5:00                 Quiet Study Time
                                 - older children do homework/silent reading
                                 - younger children story time, scheduled activities --- led be one of the
                                   proctors.

5:00 - 5:45                Quiet games indoors/Free play outdoors

5:45 - 6:00                Clean-up the room

Hours for after school are 2:30 until 6:00 pm
Minimum Day hours are 12:15 until 6:00 pm (please remember to bring a lunch)

There are only 2 days Extended Care is closed:

1.  The day Christmas vacation begins.
2.  Last school day of the year.
