Letters of the week:
We will be introducing a new letter “Ww”.  We will introduce the sound, shape and words that begin with the letter “Ww” (ex. Watermelon). The children will be practicing the letter formation and using them in their spelling words and sentences.)

Bible Verse:
“Teach me your way, O Lord; lead Me in a straight path.”

 Science:
We will be continuing with our new unit on “Spring Is a New Beginning.” The children will be introduced to Butterflies (Life cycle), Flowers (planting), Frogs (Life cycle).  If you have any books, pictures, or DVD’s, Please send in to share. Thank You! We need toilet paper rolls or paper towels rolls.

 Language:
“Where The Wild Things Are”

Math:
The children will be continuing math on Additions. The children will learn how to add two sets together to find the sum.  They will learn about finding the sum and what the plus “+” sign means and the equal “=” sign represents

Social Studies:
We will be finishing with our State of California.  We will learn shape of our state, together with the state bird, flower, flag, song, and some of its natural resources. They will be making a State of California booklet. The children will understand their own state.

*Please make sure your child has extra clothes in his/her cubby (shirt, socks shorts/underwear) in case of an ‘Accident”
